About me

Clare francisco wallner, md

She/they

My clinical background is in emergency medicine and prehospital/transport medicine. Like many of my colleagues, my professional interests and experiences have been quite varied. I have worked in and around emergency departments for over 20 years and look forward to being able to focus my practice on supportive psychotherapy for the next few decades.

I have completed a change in scope of practice with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and completed the MDPAC Psychotherapy Training Program. I have additional training in psychotherapy modalities such as Polyvagal Theory, Mindful Self Compassion, and have completed ongoing training in Internal Family Systems (IFSCa Stepping In program, IFS Institute Level 1 training). My style tends to be wholistic and integrative - pulling in strengths and resources form different modalities where it may be supportive.
